Colors, colors, colors

We have been learning many classroom routines this week through the theme of color.  We read poems about color.  We talked about imagery and word choice.  We graphed our favorite colors.  We reviewed primary and secondary colors and introduced tertiary colors.  The best part of all was mixing colors in our edible color wheel.  Mmm yum.  Next week we will continue to build our classroom community as we study "Marvelous Me".  Also, be sure to put August 31 on your calendar.  We'll be doing Back to School Night and I'll review homework and volunteer opportunities.
